A gift feels more thoughtful when the recipient has a real say.

That choice-first idea still guides every occasion the team serves. The invitation begins with a sender, but the recipient completes the experience through a selection that feels genuinely theirs.

Delighting our customers is an obsession. It is the ultimate goal behind every decision we make and everything we do!

A Choice-First Beginning

The company started with a familiar corporate-gifting problem: a well-meant choice did not always match the person receiving it. In 2012, co-founders Elisabeth Vezzani and Leslie Lyon created Sugarwish for recipient-choice gifting. Candy opened the idea, and the selection has since grown to 15+ gift categories.

That model has since reached a much wider audience. The company records more than 2 million gifts delivered and says it serves more than 50,000 companies, among them 70% of the Fortune 500.

Joy Without the Guessing

At its center, the mission is to make gifting joyful, effortless, and personal. A sender chooses the category and starts the occasion; the recipient then selects what suits them. That division keeps the experience joyful, effortless, and personal.

That choice-first idea still guides every occasion the team serves. Choice supplies the personal detail, while the platform keeps the surrounding exchange simple to arrange.

Women-Owned and Certified

The business also identifies ownership and certification as part of its company story. Sugarwish is women-owned and operated, with WBENC and WOSB certifications. Those credentials give business partners a documented ownership profile alongside the gifting service.

Extending Joy Through Giving

The story of joy also reaches beyond the sender and recipient. Sugarwish partners with Make-A-Wish America and reports donating over $4 million. The documented contribution connects everyday gifting with wish-granting support.

Based in Centennial

The current home of the company is part of the documented profile. Sugarwish is based in Centennial, Colorado. The location is the company's present operating home, not a claim about its original founding place.
